Serenity Now

Sometimes we design interiors for different clients that live in the same complex and this is an example of how people’s taste and lifestyle affects every project we undertake.  Our beautiful client was reasonably happy with her furnishings and cabinetry, but missing was the zing that she desired to uplift her spirits when we returned home from her regular, extensive international travels.

Warm tones, texture and finish are the key factors in this project, where beautiful tiles, textured wallcoverings, detailed joinery, curated soft furnishings and new cabinetry culminated in the overall, beautifully soft and tactile result. The whole effect is understated, yet powerful in its impact.

A completely blank wall in the lounge was transformed when new custom-designed cabinetry, a tiled fireplace and open shelving were installed, creating a new focal point to the room, anchoring the space and furnishings.  A serene and gentle room coupled with our client’s existing treasured pieces of furniture, including a reupholstered dining suite all add up to one very happy client in a soothing and inviting home.

The bathrooms, powder room, kitchen, robes and study were totally renovated with new, more practical inclusions, together with fabulous lighting contributing to the dynamic result. The whole, inner-city apartment is now very much a twenty-first century home that feels like it has been here for a lifetime.
