Visitors Centre

The governing tourism body of our beautiful local area has a flagship information centre right in the heart of Noosa Heads, that had served the visitors and community well for about fifteen years.  It was time to inject a new, cleaner, fresher look together with a new floor plan that allows a greater flow of foot traffic and more appropriate amenities for the staff.

The wall lights in the main entry evoke the sense of sea birds flying across a landscape that is both land and sea, created using wallpaper hung in the reverse, with simple display shelving anchoring the scene.  Shaped ottomans mimic waves touching the shore, drawing you in to discover the available wonders to visit in our beautiful region.

A living wall of native plants houses the iconic “i” sign that attracts visitors to the site. A blackboard at the front of the site announces various special events with an intricate ceramic mosaic depicting thick leaves embellishing the front counter.
