Financial Services Offices

Your workplace should be just as fabulous as your own home environment, considering most people spend more time at work than they do in waking hours at home. Di Henshall Interior Design was approached by a financial services company to come up with a design within a derelict building in the CBD of a northern Queensland city.

There were no floors, walls, ceilings or doors, so we were given the opportunity to create something quite magical, that would appeal to their high-end clientele as well as their hard-working team, who all have intense workloads. The result is a huge success, loved equally by the clients, their team members and visitors alike. The staff room looks more like an inner-city, industrial-style coffee house. The board room, which can be divided into two, has a sense of intimacy, contrasting with the vast 5.5m high main office area, which has break-out areas, quiet zones and crisp work surfaces. Another coffee bar and casual gathering arena is on the upper floor, softened by a moss-laden tropical garden and feature lights.
