Why do you produce a magazine? 

We have a very high percentage of repeat clients, around 70% year on year, and one way we keep in touch with our clients is through newsletters and now we also have our magazine.  It showcases some of our recent projects along with some anecdotal stories from some of my travels around Australia and the world. Our clients, many of whom remain in touch with us for many years, love seeing what we are up to and what is new or interesting in the design world.

The magazine was born out of a desire to stay in touch with our clients, friends, associates and suppliers when Covid hit.  It was also a way, at the time, of reinforcing our commitment to our clients and the industry, telling people that we were not going to let the pandemic beat us and that we are here to stay and to thrive.  Initially, it was a one-off project that gave us the opportunity to express ourselves as a strong design company with something to share.

The response to the first edition was so strong that it spurred us on to write another issue.  It then took on a lifeform of its own, which now means that we are producing a new edition every time we have the chance to gather the team together for the huge collaboration that it takes to write and select material that we think will be enjoyed by many people, from our clients to people as far as field as the UK, USA, NZ, South Africa and Australia. It is our way of promoting our brand, our design solutions and stories of travel and interior design trends.  Readers will see that each and every one of our projects is unique, based on the clients’ lifestyle, desires and aspirations.
